The Final Push Pineapple and Mint Mocktail
This mocktail is fruity and refreshing. Ideal if you are not drinking alcohol, but would still like a delicious 'fun' drink.
It is also a great option for those who want to drink Raspberry Leaf (from 32 weeks) in preparation for birth, but do not necessarily enjoy hot drinks.
Ingredients
2 The Final Push tea bags
100ml pineapple juice
A few sprigs of fresh mint
Juice of half a lemon
1 tsp honey/maple syrup
Ice
Method
1) Brew The Final Push Raspberry Leaf Tea Bags with 300ml of boiling water until very strong
2) Once brewed and slightly cooled, add to a cocktail shaker (or jar) with the pineapple juice, most of the mint, lemon juice, honey/maple syrup, and a handful of ice.
3) Shake well, so that all the flavours combine, and the contents are well chilled.
4) Pour into a tall glass with ice, and garnish with the remaining sprig of mint.
Raspberry Leaf has a compound fragerine in it that has been used for millennia to support women's health. This compound makes uterine muscles contract, and strengthen, which can help to regulate periods, and reduce a heavy flow. But it's also why you shouldn't drink raspberry leaf until you are 32 weeks pregnant.
Our The Final Push Raspberry Leaf Tea not only helps your body to prepare for labour, but the whole peppermint can also help to aid digestion and ease heartburn. The peppermint in our blend also sweetens the raspberry leaf, making it a delicious cuppa, unlike traditional 100% raspberry leaf blends.
