G(INGER) & T(EA) Mocktail Recipe

Ingredients for mocktail on kitchen side - tonic water, cocktail mixer, honey, lemon, Morning Rescue Tea

If you are looking to cut out alcohol, or limit your intake, you might be missing a G&T.  Whilst this recipe isn't an exact match, it's warming ginger, refreshing citrus notes, sweet honey and herby rosemary will lift you.

Far less sugary than most soft drinks, and full of natural goodness, whether it's dry January or your first trimester, give this a go...

To make 1 mocktail, you'll need:

1 x Morning Rescue tea bag

50ml freshly boiled hot water

½tsp honey

Ice

Lemon slice

Sprig of rosemary

50ml tonic water (use lemonade if you have a sweet tooth)

Black pepper

To make:
  1. Pour 50ml freshly boiled water over your Morning Rescue tea bag and leave it to brew for 5 minutes
  2. In an old fashioned glass, combine the brewed tea with honey and stir until it’s dissolved
  3. Add ice, a slice of lemon and a rosemary sprig. Gently stir and top up with tonic water or lemonade and top with a grind of black pepper.

Enjoy!
